ABOUT
The Founders Club program connects students and entrepreneurs at school, corporate, and startup campuses in Houston, via a partnership between Houston Community College, Spring Branch ISD, the City of Houston, Brittmoore Founders District, and startup incubator + coworking center, The Cannon.
Membership in The Cannon's entrepreneurial community offers access to a full suite of benefits:
MISSION
Founders Club fosters the development of entrepreneurial skills, via programs that enable networking, one-on-one mentorship, panel and classroom engagement, startup and maker-space facility tours, and an end-of-year student-led business plan pitch competition and celebration.
Founders Club members will have first-hand opportunities to develop entrepreneurial hard and soft skills necessary to navigate the burgeoning start-up sector, right here in Houston.

Membership shall be open to any student who is currently enrolled at HCC.
2.
GPA requirement of 2.0 or above.
3.
Officer positions- positions will be appointed by the advisor and co-advisor during the first year. Afterwards, elections will be held.
4.
In the event that there is a vacant position, Advisors can appoint positions.
MEETINGS
1.
Founders Club meetings will be held once a month.
2.
Information will be communicated to each member of the club in regards to time, place, and topics that may need to be discussed.
3.
Special meetings may be called by Advisors or elected officers. All members must be given a minimum of 24 hours prior notice to the meeting time.
4.
In matters of election meetings, the majority of members must be present for voting to begin.
